1) What is your role in Pre-Dental Society.
I am the treasurer of Pre-Dental Society, and I manage all the financial duties and keep track of our account to make sure the club is getting every penny's worth. 2) Tell us about yourself I am currently a third year pursing a neuroscience major. I just got back from my study abroad adventure fall quarter from Copenhagen, Denmark, and truly enjoyed every bit of it. I also recently joined the UCSC's Women's tennis team and I am enjoying playing under the Santa Cruz sun with my amazing teammates. In my free time, I enjoy biking, exploring new places, hanging out with friends and family, and playing the piano/cello. 3) Why Dentistry? Growing up with a father as a dentist, I was always inspired by his hard work throughout the long day and his reward of happy patients. I have always been interested in dentistry, but because I didn't want to only limit myself with my father's path, I explored other options. I later realized that dentistry was the better fit for me because I enjoy helping people, interacting with people, and I would like to improve the overall oral health that is needed. 4) Your favorite motto or advice to other Pre-Dents? Remember that you are not alone in whatever journey/struggle you are going through-so don't be afraid to ask someone for help! |
