1) What is your role in Pre-Dental Society? What are your duties?
Vice President

2) Tell us about yourself 
I am currently a 4th year MCD Biology major and will be applying to dental school during the June 2015 cycle. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my adorable Mini Pinscher, Casey. My hobbies include baking, going on distance runs, and reading books (other than my biology textbooks). 

3) Why Dentistry?
Although I spent a majority of my childhood at the dentist undergoing numerous procedures to correct my extremely overcrowded teeth, pursuing a career in dentistry had never crossed my mind. It was not until I began volunteering at a local dental office in my hometown during high school that I fell in love with the profession. My favorite aspect about dentistry is the art of being able to better someones smile and overall oral health. 

4) Your favorite motto or advice to other Pre-Dents?
My advice to other Pre-Dents would be not to lose sight of your goals and aspirations when your classes and studies get hard. Anything is possible with a positive attitude.
